With these kits, children and collectors could produce their own soldiers
and paint them afterwards.
The most beautiful showpiece in this section is without any doubt the
scale-model of the ‘Battle of Waterloo’. This diorama with
exactly 8007 miniature soldiers represents all the decisive moments of
Napoleon’s last battle. The Alen family of Borgerhout (Belgium)
spent 10 years making this display
